Harrogate House Inn (circa 1818) is located in the heart of the historic downtown core. Located mere minutes from pubs, restaurants, theatres, boutique shopping and well within walking distance of North America's oldest golf course, you can park your car in our guest-only parking area and easily enjoy the town on foot.

 

All of our guest rooms and common areas have undergone extensive renovations and reimagined for today's discerning traveller.  All rooms feature private en-suite bathrooms, wifi, flatscreen TVs with streaming service connections and in-room refreshments. The majority of rooms enjoy either a private balcony or terrace where you can relax and enjoy a glass of local wine as you listen to the sound of the horse-drawn carriages trotting by on King Street.

 

In the morning, our gourmet breakfast can be enjoyed in the outdoor garden terrace, inside in our Café or in the dining room. Breakfast is served between 8:30-9:30am. Specialty coffee, fresh juices and pastries await you, but we do suggest you leave room for the individually cooked meals from our daily breakfast menu.

 

Our Café has drinks available all day for your enjoyment. The business traveller will enjoy sitting by the large windows, overlooking the gardens. This is a great thinking space. Our lounge is a place to relax, chat with friends or simply enjoy reading a good book.

 

The owners are Elisabeth & Kenton Needham. In their early careers they worked at some of the top hotels in Canada and the UK and are now fulfilling a dream of owning their own micro hotel. They are excited to make Niagara-on-the Lake their home.  We welcome you to our special Niagara-on-the-Lake retreat!
